Love Packaging

Nothing makes me feel more like myself than when I'm doing something creative. I'm a little out of my comfort zone out here, living in hotels and all, but I've learned to take whatever I can find around me to do what I love!

This weekend I had put together a little package for my friend Isabelle who is the next bride to be. It's a little sad being gone all summer because I'm missing so many of my friends weddings! But who doesn't love getting a package anyway, right?

I didn't have much around the hotel room so I went out to my car and looked for anything left around or lost in there that I could use to make some packaging.

I used some old brown paper for the paper, some white paint I had, an apple, and some twine I had in my purse.

Why did I have twine in my purse? For moments like this.

Every day I strive to create something. To write something, draw something, or just think of something new! I'm always trying to flex my creative muscle to take the world around me and make something new out of it. And making something even this simple makes me feel alive!

  1. Love brown paper packaging and I use twine on all my gift wrapping, it has become a signature now that everyone knows who got that present! Super cute. Love the love hearts. Lovely blog also. ---Stephanie
