Sweaty Boys, Fireworks, and Homies

I wish I had some way cute pictures of an American flag fruit pizza or some way crafty and innovative way to wear an American flag 52 different ways. But I currently live in a hotel and don't have the ability to bake or craft, and my resources are somewhat limited. Also, I hate fruit pizza. I think it's weird and they should call it a giant cookie because that's what it is.

Anyway, this week has been awesome. The other Vivint wives are in town! It really has been so great because I not only have other women to hang out with during the day, but they're seriously cool chicks.

The boys had to go out and work yesterday, so we got our nails done. A little mani pedi never hurt nobody right?

Because of the holiday, the boys got off a little early and we all went downtown for lunch at this cool place called the Library. I'll tell you what, it was the best BBQ, baked beans, and potato salad I've ever had. They know how to eat down here.

After that, the boys had the genius idea to play a huge game of soccer. They're all still way stoked on the World Cup, and think they're pretty cool. It was fun watching until we started getting eaten alive by mosquitos! Also some of the techs had been drinking just a little too much, and a couple of them couldn't really handle it. One guy couldn't stop throwing up on the side of the field and then fell asleep in his own barf. I'm so glad we don't drink hahahah.

They loved playing so much though, it was hard to make them stop. They played so long and hard we almost missed the fireworks! I guess they just love having time off as much as we loved having time with them.

I cannot believe how sweaty these boys got. But boys will be smelly!

I don't know if they finally wore themselves out, or everyone just got too competitive and started to hate each other, but soon enough the game ended. We ran back to the hotel with just enough time to get showered up and head down to see some Ole Miss fireworks.

I don't know about you, but my favorite fireworks are the one you can feel. I love the ones that light up your eyes, I go ga ga for giant ones that light up the whole sky, and I can't get enough of the fast flying fireworks. But there is nothing like a loud firework that you can feel in your chest. I love it.

We even decided to make some fireworks of our own.
I'm actually laughing at myself for using that cheesy phrase. But come on, I love him.

I honestly can't say I know what's going on in the picture above. All I know is these boys are a real good time. Non-stop good times. They all went to high school together, so I felt like I got just a little taste of what it was like to be with them in high school. So much Biggie Smalls and yelling at strangers.
