With all the craziness going on around the world and even here in America, I'd like to think that if we all sat down together and shared a slice, it would help us see eye to eye on some things. There's just something about a meal together that brings people together in a bigger way. This blog post doesn't get much deeper than that, so if you're looking for some epic life-changing paradigm-shifting post inspired by pizza, sorry, maybe later.
Best new thing in my life (well, besides being married and all that)? Homemade pizza. Some of my cousins helped out at my wedding and made the most amazing pizza for all the guests with these really cool table pizza ovens. They cook the pizza in 5 minutes! Seriously amazing.
For our wedding present, we got to keep one of these pizza ovens used at our wedding.
To celebrate the great Utah weather, and just life in general, we had a mini pizza party with Casey's parents and Grandparents. In these pictures you'll see Grandma Jon and Grandpa Lewis stealing fresh raspberries from my in-laws house, while my father in-law yells at them to cut it out. Funniest moment of my life. You'll also see lots and lots of good pizza. If you're interested in getting one of these ovens, I HIGHLY recommend one of these babies. ReplyDeletei agree - pizza ABSOLUTELY makes the world go round. if people took an afternoon nap and then ate pizza together, i feel like a lot of the world's problems might be solved.
