Thoughts | On Fall

You know it's bad when we're talking about the weather. Well, it's not that bad, I just don't really feel like diving into a deep, well-thought-out post about something that's actually important. If you're looking for something like that, go here. If you want to read what I have to say about this seriously over-obsessed season, by all means, read on!

I don't have much to say about fall. I mean, I love it. What's not to love about it? It's beautiful. The colors are amazing. The dead brown color isn't that impressive, but the others are. It is honestly amazing to me how nature can make that bright of a yellow, and that bold of an orange. You can smell change in the air. It's the prologue to the holiday season. How much black I wear starts to look less weird. Costco Pumpkin Pie.

Fall is great.

I wouldn't say I'm one of those girls who is oBsEsSeD with fall, but I like it! It makes you think about your life, where you're going, how you're changing, and reminds you what it's like to stop showering, washing your hair, and how many layers you can put on your body without looking like the Pillsbury Dough Boy. It also means I get to start making my famous cinnamon rolls again. And for some weird reason, I always want to watch Gossip Girl around this time of year. Maybe it's the scarves and boots thing. Did someone say basic white girl?

I don't have much to say about fall, except that it's happening. And if you needed this blog post to figure that out, you need to get off the internet and go outside and walk around for a little bit. Get some fresh air, and maybe a Caramel Apple Spice from Starbucks.

  3. One of my favorite things about fall in the South is tobacco firing in barns of nearby farms. I love rolling down the window while driving down a country road.

Also, I think you hit the nail on the head when you mentioned no showers and trying to look decent with so many layers on. I think that's my entire life during Fall!
