You know.
We all know.
Saturday night was later than usual, Sunday morning church seems earlier than usual, and it seems as if the world is weighing on your eyelids, getting heavier with each hour of church. As soon as you walk in the door and throw down your scriptures, purse, or over-scrapbooked handouts, and you drop dead anywhere that resembles a bed, or a couch, or even a comfy nook in the back corner of grandma's house, where none of the little kids can bug you.
Peace, at last.
Sundays afternoon naps, guys! We all have them, we all love them. There is nothing comparable.
I honestly can't remember the last time I had a Sunday nap though. I've had church in the afternoon, and then go head up to SLC to see Case. This last week I tried to convince myself that I was going to take a sunday nap up there! You know, whatever. So we grabbed blankets and headed to a nearby field, ready to snooze away the late afternoon.
Yeah, that didn't happen. I was too distracted by the clouds, the beautiful mountains, and the very odd group of individuals playing Frisbee 20 feet from us. We ended up talking for hours, and making stories out of the oddly shaped clouds above us. I make it sound pretty romantic. It wasn't.
But GUYS. Utah is GORGEOUS. I'll admit it, I haven't always been the biggest fan of Utah winters. But holy moly, the summers are something to die over. The mountains, the trees, green EVERYWHERE, how can you not be blown away by this!
I love being outside and enjoying the beauty God has created for us. Get outside and enjoy it as much as you can before this place freezes over for another 6 months! I promise it will improve your life by 10,000%.
